How does the credit system work?

Every time you complete a survey from the Health Panel, you will be awarded a typical cash amount of $3 (USD). This amount will be clearly publicised on the survey invitation email, and you can view your total credit cash via the 'Rewards' area of the website.

Once you have accumulated at least $1 (USD) or the equivalent in your local currency, you can log in to your account to redeem the cash you have earned. This is our way of saying thank you for your participation in the Health Panel.

How do I redeem my incentives into PayPal?

To redeem your incentives into PayPal, sign into your Health Panel account and navigate to "Rewards," where your balance will be displayed.

You must have accumulated a minimum of $1 (USD) or the equivalent in your local currency to redeem them into PayPal.

Cash can be withdrawn via PayPal. Ideally, your PayPal account should use the same email address as your Health Panel account. However, if you need to use an alternative email, you can easily do so by following these steps:

If you do not have a PayPal account, and do not wish to get one, please contact us and we can arrange an Amazon voucher in USD, GBP or Euros for France, Germany or Spain.

What is the estimated timeframe for the funds to be deposited into my PayPal account?

While our goal is to process incentives promptly, please be aware that it may take up to 72 hours for your rewards to reflect in your PayPal account. You will receive updates on the status of your redemption via the 'Rewards' tab.

Can I leave Elsevier's Health Panel at any time?

You are under no obligation to remain in Elsevier's Health Panel any longer than you wish. Each survey that we send will give you an opportunity to unsubscribe, or you can log on to Elsevier's panel website at any time to update your preferences or unsubscribe via your My Account page.

Panellist termination

Your account will be suspended if we identify suspicious activity. Reasons for this may include multiple accounts from the same device which has been flagged as a concern to us. If your account is suspended for any reason, any rewards that you have been credited may not be redeemed. We reserve the right to reclaim any rewards in your account if your account is suspended.

Account dormant for 12 months

Your account may be terminated if there has been no activity for 12 months. Any unused credit will be reclaimed. We may contact the member in advance of termination, however there is no obligation for us to do so.
